The Rules of the Ledger

A plain summary. Where this and the Terms of Sale differ, the Terms govern.

  1. Entry is from €1,000, and bids move in steps of €100.
  2. Rank is by capital deployed. The ledger sorts itself; there is no other criterion.
  3. Every member enters as a Baron. Titles rise automatically at €2,500 (Count), €5,000 (Marquess), €10,000 (Duke) and €25,000 (Archduke).
  4. The Throne belongs to the highest total and is taken by exceeding it. Its holder is styled King — or Emperor, once the Throne is held with €100,000 or more. It is for sale by design, permanently.
  5. Titles are never revoked, only abandoned. While the Tribute is paid they move only upward. The Throne is not a title and is never safe.
  6. A seat is held for one year. The Tribute of €1,000 falls due on the anniversary, the Throne's holder included, and counts toward your total. A reminder is sent thirty days ahead; nothing is charged automatically. Unpaid, the listing lapses.
  7. Crests are minted on confirmed payment only. Numbered in sequence, bearing the regalia of your rank, and yours permanently. Your seat is not.
  8. Bids are final once the listing is live, subject to the statutory rights in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Entries that are unlawful, deceptive, or that point at malware, adult content or hate material are refused and refunded.

The House

About

Elite Club is a public leaderboard where placement is bought openly rather than earned quietly. It is satire with a payment processor — the joke is real, and so are the payments, the placements and the crests.

It is an advertising placement. It is not an investment, a security, or membership of any real body, and the titles carry no legal or civic status.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, which handles billing, tax and receipts. Traffic is measured with DataFast, only with your consent. The site is hosted on Vercel. Fonts are self-hosted.
